Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to estimate an event occurrence time when an event caused by pests and leading to crop damage occurred. Provided is an information processing device comprising an acquisition unit that acquires pest occurrence information including information related to the time when damage to crops, caused by pests, occurred and environment information including a cultivation environment of the crops, an event period determining unit that determines, using the pest occurrence information, an estimated event occurrence period when an event leading to occurrence of the damage to the crops probably occurred and an event-free period when the event leading to occurrence of the damage did not occur, and an event estimating unit comparing the environment information during the estimated event occurrence period with the environment information during the event-free period to estimate, from the estimated event occurrence period, the event occurrence time when the event occurred.
