Abstract:
This infrared optical system comprises: a spherical lens part (4) that has an image-forming effect as a whole and that is provided with at least one spherical lens for forming an image of incoming light from a subject; an aperture diaphragm part (3) that regulates transmission of the incoming light through the spherical lens part; an aberration correction plate part (1; 17) that is disposed in the front stage of the spherical lens part, that has at least one non-spherical shaped surface, and that provides the incoming light with such an optical path length difference that supplements an aberration generated at the spherical lens part; and a lens-barrel part (7) that holds the spherical lens part, the aperture diaphragm part, and the aberration correction plate part.
