Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a light guide member in which a more uniform brightness can be obtained across a wide region. [Solution] This light guide member (20) is configured so that light incident on an entry-side surface (21) is emitted from a principal surface (25a), wherein the light guide member (20) has recesses (26) comprising machining marks machined into a groove shape or a dot shape provided to at least one of the principal surfaces (25a, 25b), and the deepest part of each of the recesses (26) is provided with a bottom surface (24) formed by a melt (27a). It is therefore possible to provide a light guide member in which groove-shaped or dot-shaped recesses having bottom surfaces formed by molten marks are formed thereon, and in which light having a more uniform brightness can be emitted from the principal surface when a large region is observed.
