Abstract:
This light guide plate has a glass substrate having a mark on a surface thereof. The glass substrate has a refractive index of at least 1.7. The mark is formed with multiple dots. Each of the dots has formed at the outermost peripheral edge and innermost peripheral edge thereof raised parts that are situated higher than said surface. Each of the dots is composed of an aggregate of laser irradiation marks having a diameter of 10-40 μm. The respective laser irradiation marks overlap or are in contact with adjacent laser irradiation marks so as to form at least one loop configuration. If the loop configuration is referred as a specific loop configuration when the minimum circle inscribing said loop configuration has a diameter of not more than 100 μm, said specific loop configuration is formed as an open loop having an opening. The length of the opening is 1/10-2 times the maximum diameter of the laser irradiation marks.
