[Problem] To provide a medication dispensing system and medication dispensing program that are capable of assisting in the effective selection of medication types that are dispensable from medication cassettes. [Solution] A medication dispensing system 500 according to the present invention comprises: a first processing unit 422 for receiving estimation conditions associated with the selection of a medication type for a medication that is dispensable from a medication cassette during a medication dispensing operation, where medications of one or multiple medication types are dispensed on the basis of medication dispensing data, via a medication dispensing device capable of performing the medication dispensing operation; and a second processing unit 423 for outputting simulation results for the medication dispensing operation as performed on the basis of a plurality of items of the medication dispensing data when the estimation conditions received by the first processing 422 have been applied.
