Abstract:
Provided is a method for applying a robot to reproduction machining; a robot, three-dimensional simulation, and CNC machine tools are used in combination; an application base comprises three-dimensional model files, i.e. a.x file using Windows DirectX and a G code file for CNC machine tool processing; machining is performed using a robot and application software in place of CNC machine tools; by means of three-dimensional simulation, position data of a model to be machined is obtained, then converted to position information with which the robot can operate, said location information being not limited to location information, but also comprising various control information which can be sent to the robot for automated processing; data is exchanged in real time by means of a network so as to expand the functionality of the robot such that the robot not only uses a demonstrator program, but can also perform machining as a three-dimensional simulation.
