Abstract:
Provided are: a method for detecting amyloid-β bound to a brain-neuronal-cell-derived exosome in blood, the method comprising a step for binding amyloid-β bound to the brain-neuronal-cell-derived exosome in the blood to an amyloid-β specifically binding substance that is labeled with a nucleic acid fragment and is capable of binding specifically to amyloid-β and a step for detecting the amyloid-β specifically binding substance; and a method for evaluating the accumulation level of amyloid-β in the brain, the method comprising a step for detecting amyloid-β that is bound to a brain-neuronal-cell-derived exosome in blood and a step for evaluating the accumulation level of amyloid-β in the brain based on the amount of amyloid-β detected.
