Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for deleting Graceful Restart (GR) function. The method includes: locally deleting GR configuration information of a first device and GR information in a Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) session of the first device in the circumstances of establishing the LDP session with a second device and negotiating the GR function; transmitting to the second device a notification message which is used for notifying the second device to delete the GR information in the LDP session of the second device so that the second device locally deletes the GR information in the LDP session according to the notification message. The technical solution realizes that without effecting the state of the LDP session, the corresponding LDP session which has enabled GR can be disabled in time after a Label Switched Router (LSR) locally deletes the support for GR.
