Abstract:
Disclosed are a server and method for generating a user-advertisement matching list for an online advertisement. The method can generate the user-advertisement matching list by: obtaining profile information and advertisement exposure history information of users who have been exposed to a plurality of advertisements by an advertisement exposure server; obtaining advertisement information of advertisements to be exposed by an advertiser; identifying candidate users for the advertisements of the advertiser from among the users on the basis of the profile information of the users; predicting access times for the candidate users to access the advertisement exposure server; selecting target users to be provided with the advertisements of the advertiser from among the candidate users on the basis of the predicted access times; obtaining each target user's preferences for advertised products of the advertiser; and matching the advertisements of the advertiser with the target users on the basis of the preferences.
