Abstract:

A method and device for processing an I/O request in a network file system. The method comprises: when a network file system file handle (NFS FH) in an I/O request cannot be recognised, a network file system server sending a parsing request for the unrecognised NFS FH to a centralized controller (201); the network file system server receiving a file identifier corresponding to the unrecognised NFS FH sent by the centralized controller according to the parsing request, the file identifier being determined by the centralized controller from a pre-stored correspondence between the NFS FH and the file identifier (202); and the network file system server processing the I/O request according to the file identifier (203). The method and the device can implement the imperceptible migration of a virtual machine.
