Abstract:

A method for establishing the multicast LSP and a multicast data transfer system, the method includes: a multicast source proxy node learns and stores the multicast stream information; an egress edge node in MPLS domain obtains the multicast stream information send from the multicast source proxy node by transmitting a query request message to the multicast source proxy node; the egress edge node joins in the multicast group according to the obtained multicast stream information, and establishes the multicast LSP between the egress edge node and the ingress edge node. The dynamic development of multicast service can be supported by this scheme, and the maintenance cost of the network topology can be reduced observably.
