Abstract:
A gear pump for conveying pulpy food raw material includes a pump body, a pump cover and
a pair of meshed driving gear and driven gear which are assembled therebetween. Said
driving gear and driven gear are made up of stainless steel material or stainless steel
powder metallurgical material. An O-ring seal is provided on each of the two end
faces of the driving gear and the driven gear and said O-ring seal is concentric with
the axes of the respective gear shaft. Therefore the gaps between two end faces
of the driving gear and the driven gear and the pump body and the pump cover can be
respectively filled up with O-ring seals.
