Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for reducing an organic chlorinated compound in a cement manufacture plant, which can reduce the quantity of the organic chlorinated compound contained in a powder in the cement manufacture plant. The method comprises: a heating step in which the powder is heated to separate the organic chlorinated compound from the powder or decompose the organic chlorinated compound; and a gas thermal degradation step in which a thermal treatment gas which is produced as a result of the heating of the powder and contains the organic chlorinated compound is fed to a high temperature chamber in the cement manufacture plant to thermally decompose the organic chlorinated compound contained in the thermal treatment gas.
