Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for signal compensation in a viewable area of a liquid crystal panel, comprising: inputting display driver signals corresponding to pixels of the viewable area (S201); and, performing signal compensation for the display driver signals corresponding to the pixels of the edge areas of the viewable area, or, performing signal compensation for the display driver signals corresponding to the pixels of areas outside the edges of the viewable area (S202); and, outputting to the corresponding pixels the compensated and uncompensated display driver signals corresponding to the pixels (S203). Also disclosed are an input data conversion circuit in the liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display device. With the method, the present invention allows for improved overall optical uniformity of the viewable area of the liquid crystal panel.
