Abstract:
A PSVA-type liquid crystal display panel, a liquid crystal display panel, and a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display panel comprises oppositely arranged upper and lower substrates (11 and 12). The upper and lower substrates (11 and 12) are filled therebetween with liquid crystals. Liquid crystal molecules (17) in the liquid crystals are vertically aligned. The upper and lower substrates (11 and 12) are provided on surfaces thereof with upper and lower polarizing films (13 and 14). The optical axes of the upper and lower polarizing films (13 and 14) are perpendicular to each other. The upper polarizing film (13) is provided on a lateral surface thereof in proximity to the lower polarizing film (14) with an upper engraved waveplate (15). The lower polarizing film (14) is provided on a lateral surface thereof in proximity to the upper polarizing film (13) with a lower engraved waveplate (16). Angles of 45° are provided respectively between the slow axes of the upper and lower engraved waveplates (15 and 16) and the optical axis of the upper polarizing film (13) or that of the lower polarizing film (14). The slow axes of the upper and lower engraved waveplates (15 and 16) are perpendicular to each other. The liquid crystal panel is provided with increased light transmittance, thus increasing the response speed of the liquid crystal molecules (17).
