Abstract:
When a synchronization state check unit reports to a mobile UE that the downlink synchronization state is in an asynchronous state, a radio link failure state check unit operates as follows: [1] If a first timer has expired and a second timer is started, the radio link failure state check unit stops the second timer and determines that the radio link has failed. [2] If the first timer is started and the second timer is started, the radio link failure state check unit stops the second timer. [3] If the first timer is not started, the radio link failure state check unit starts the first timer.
