Abstract:
The present invention provides a multilayer ceramic electronic component 2 which comprises a ceramic layer 3 and an electrode 9 that is in contact with the ceramic layer 3, wherein: the ceramics contained in the ceramic layer 3 include a Ba-Nd-Ti oxide, forsterite, barium borosilicate glass and MnO; and at the interface where the ceramic layer 3 is in contact with the electrode 9, an Nd unevenly distributed part, in which Nd is unevenly distributed, is present in the ceramic layer 3.
