Abstract:
Provided is a needle removal operation cover that can safely perform a removal operation of an injection needle even when the needle tip is directly inserted, and that can remove an injection needle without requiring a wrist twisting movement. In the needle removal operation cover configured to rotate and unscrew an injection needle that is detachably screwed onto the tip of an injection cylinder, the needle removal operation cover is formed in a cylindrical shape which accommodates a needle tube of the injection needle up to the needle tip and inside which a needle base can be integrally mounted. A flange for a rotation operation protrudes from an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical shape, and an outer circumferential edge of the flange is formed in a plurality of continuous chevron shapes. Among the ridge lines of the chevron shapes, those ridge lines that correspond to a rotation direction for releasing the injection needle from the injection cylinder are formed in a shape with which operating fingers can easily engage.
