Abstract:
The present invention provides a niobium granulated powder production method characterized by including: a step in which niobium hydride and a metal oxide are mixed and a mechanical alloy is obtained by using mechanical alloying; a step in which the mechanical alloy is pulverized; and a step in which the pulverized mechanical alloy is agglomerated by heat treatment and a granulated substance is formed. A capacitor using, as a positive electrode body therefor, a sintered body of the niobium granulated powder obtained by this method is capable of increasing capacitor capacity by preventing excessive formation of dielectric film.
