Title:
NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/155248
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to prevent a negative electrode in a bent section of a flat-shaped wound electrode body from over-charging locally, and prevent a positive electrode core body in the bent section from cracking. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to one mode of the present invention comprises: a flat-shaped electrode body in which a wound pole plate group having a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator interposed therebetween; a non-aqueous electrolyte; and an exterior body. The positive electrode plate has a positive electrode core body and a positive electrode mixture layer formed on the surface thereof. The negative electrode plate has a negative electrode core body and a negative electrode mixture layer formed on the surface thereof. In a cross section orthogonal to the winding axis, at each of the end portions in the major axis direction, the electrode body has a bent section wherein the pole plate group is bent. Among the surfaces on the winding inner side of the positive electrode mixture layer within each of the bent sections, a resin tape is adhered in a section of the positive electrode plate disposed most toward the beginning of the winding. The resin tape contains an adhesive layer, and a base material layer that does not transmit lithium ions. The adhesive force of the resin tape with respect to the positive electrode mixture layer is between 0.1 N/cm and 2 N/cm inclusive.
