Title:
NOVEL OPTICALLY ACTIVE ORGANOPHOSPHORUS COMPOUNDS, TRANSITION METAL COMPLEXES CONTAINING THE COMPOUNDS AS THE LIGAND, AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF OPTICALLY ACTIVE COMPOUNDS WITH THE COMPLEXES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/026441
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Organophosphorus compounds represented by the general formula (1) (wherein R1 and R4 are each hydrogen, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, an optionally substituted heterocyclic group, sulfonyloxy, halogeno, or the like; R2 and R3 are each an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, an optionally substituted heterocyclic group, alkoxy, substituted or unsubstituted amino, or the like, or R2 and R3 together with the adjacent phosphorus atom may form a ring; n is 0 or 1; the norbornene ring may have another substituent in addition to those given in the formula or may be fused with another ring; and the phosphorus atom may take any of anti- and syn-configurations). The compounds are useful as the ligand for transition metal complex catalysts which make it possible to produce optically active compounds in high yields and asymmetric yields and which are excellent in general-purpose properties.
