An optical condenser device (1) showing an example of the present invention has a first prism member (10) for emitting from the rear surface the light incident from the front surface and a second prism member (20) arranged opposing the rear surface of the first prism member. The first prism member has a plurality of optical condensing structures formed on the front surface for condensing the incident light and a plurality of polarizing structures which project from the rear surface corresponding to the plurality of the optical condensing structures and polarize and emit the light condensed by the optical condensing structures. The second prism member has an incidence surface arranged opposing the rear surface of the first prism member, a reflection structure intersecting with the incidence surface at an acute angle, and an emission surface for emitting the light. The light polarized by and emitted from the polarizing structures of the first prism member is incident to the second prism member through the incidence surface thereof. The light is reflected by the reflection structure inside the second prism member and the incidence surface thereof and thereby guided toward the emission surface and emitted therefrom.
