Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical fiber route search method, an optical fiber route search device, and a program that make it possible to effectively confirm the path of an optical fiber wired over a long distance or a wide range. This optical fiber route search method comprises: performing an optical measurement for measuring the state of an optical fiber in a distributed manner while providing disturbance to the optical fiber at a parallel, branch, or intersection part (proximity part) of optical fiber wiring; and determining, from a distribution chart obtained by the optical measurement, a location where the number of singular points (peaks and intensity fluctuations) fluctuates (becomes plural) as the location of the proximity part.
