Abstract:
A packet ordering device comprises one buffer that is provided in order to store a plurality of communication flow packets; and a control unit that determines with a determination process whether a received packet is an out-of-order packet whenever packets are received, and, when the received packet is an out-of-order packet, reorders and outputs the received packet in proper packet order by storing the out-of-order packet in the buffer together with communications flow identification information of the out-of-order packet. The out-of-order packet is a received packet that is received in an order that differs from the order thereof at transmission. The communications flow information is information for identifying each of the plurality of communication flows.
