Abstract:
Disclosed is a stereo camera device that captures images of objects in a wide spectral band and of which three-dimensional measurement accuracy is prevented from degrading. The stereo camera device comprises a stereo-image acquiring means that acquires stereo images by capturing light from an object; a corresponding-point searching means that searches corresponding points between the stereo images; a wavelength acquiring means that acquires a representative wavelength of wavelength components of the light; a parameter acquiring means that acquires parameter values corresponding to the representative wavelength for one or more camera parameters of the stereo-image acquiring means, the parameter values of the camera parameters varying in accordance with the wavelength components of the light; and a three-dimensional information acquiring means that acquires three-dimensional information relating to the object from results of the corresponding-point search using the parameter values.
