Abstract:
A path planning method for a vehicle and a path planning apparatus for a vehicle. The path planning method comprises: detecting a first operation, of a user, used for indicating the start of automatic parking (610); displaying, in response to the first operation, position information of candidate garages on a display screen (620); detecting a second operation, of the user, used for indicating a target garage of the candidate garages (630); and displaying, in response to the second operation, a target traveling path on the display screen, wherein the target traveling path is used for the vehicle to travel from an initial parking pose where the automatic parking is indicated as started to the target parking pose in the target garage, the target travelling path is obtained by planning, according to an intermediate pose of the vehicle, the path between the initial parking pose and the target parking pose in sections, and at least part of the vehicle is located out of the target garage when the vehicle is located at the intermediate pose (640). The parking path of the vehicle can be planned in sections by means of an intermediate pose, so as to improve the success rate of the path planning for the vehicle.
