Title:
PEPTIDES OF CENP-A AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/023816
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to peptides of the CENP-A (CENtromer Protein A) and the use thereof for the diagnosis of systemic scleroses (SSc) and associated autoimmune diseases and for the differential and exclusion diagnosis. The invention further relates to the use of these peptides for immunoabsorption, as vaccines for producing tolerance and as immunogenic and antigenic composition for the production of antibodies in vivo and in vitro. Furthermore, it is possible to more distinctly differentiate patients suffering from SSc and related collagenoses.
