Abstract:
Provided are a photodetector element, and an image sensor including the photodetector element. The photodetector element 1 has: an aggregate of semiconductor quantum dots containing Ag atoms, Bi atoms, and chalcogen atoms; and a photoelectric conversion layer 13 including ligands coordinated to the semiconductor quantum dots, wherein in the semiconductor quantum dots, the ratio of the number of Ag atoms to the number of chalcogen atoms is at most 0.85.
