Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve image quality by improving light use efficiency, resolution, and the like. Provided is a light-guiding plate comprising: an incidence portion that diffracts incident light into the light-guiding plate; a path through which the light diffracted into the light-guiding plate by the incidence portion is subjected to total internal reflection and guided; and an emission portion that diffracts the light guided through the path and emits the light to a pupil of a viewer, wherein the emission portion has a plurality of diffraction grating groups that are two-dimensionally arranged, and when viewed from the front, the plurality of diffraction gratings include at least one of a diffraction grating that diffracts the light toward the outside of the emission portion, a diffraction grating that diffracts the light toward the inside of the emission portion, and a diffraction grating that diffracts the light toward the pupil of the viewer.
