A power management system (1) is a power management system for managing the power state of a device, and is provided with one or more end terminals, one or more shared terminals, and a power management device (10). The power management device (10) holds correspondence information which associates one or more specific end terminals among the one or more end terminals with one or more specific shared terminals, which perform data communication with the specific shared terminal, among the one or more shared terminals, acquires information relating to the power state of the specific end terminal, and controls the power state of the specific shared terminal on the basis of the information.
