Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a processing device for accurately measuring a distance by detecting installation misalignment of a camera with respect to a marker for calibration due to mounting misalignment of the camera or installation misalignment of a vehicle when a monocular or stereo camera has been mounted on the vehicle and the marker has been imaged, and by calibrating image misalignment from glass so as not to be impacted by misalignment of an image due to this reason. A processing device for acquiring installation misalignment of a vehicle-mounted camera (stereo camera 104) from data of a window (windshield 112) of a vehicle 111 that has been modeled as well an image obtained by imaging a plurality of markers 101, 102, 103 that have different distances from the vehicle-mounted camera, and using the installation misalignment to modify correction data for correcting an image of the vehicle-mounted camera. Installation misalignment is positional misalignment with respect to a location where the vehicle-mounted camera should be disposed relative to a chart on which the markers 101, 102, 103 are present.
