Provided is a protection circuit, comprising an input power source (1), an energy storage capacitor (C), a power supply output circuit (2), a power failure detection circuit (3), and a processor (4). The input power source (1) is connected to the energy storage capacitor (C). The energy storage capacitor (C) is connected to the power supply output circuit (2). The input power source (1) is used to charge the energy storage capacitor (C) and power the power supply output circuit (2). The energy storage capacitor (C) is used to power the power supply output circuit (2) if the input power source (1) fails. A voltage output by the power supply output circuit (2) is respectively input to a base electrode and a drain electrode of a power amplifier (100). The power failure detection circuit (3) is connected to the input power source (1) and sends power failure information to the processor (4) on detecting that the input power source (1) has failed. Then, the processor (4) outputs to a power supply circuit a signal for controlling an input voltage of the base electrode of the power amplifier (100) to be less than or equal to zero, and outputs to the power supply output circuit (2) a signal for controlling an input voltage of the drain electrode of the power amplifier (100) to be zero, so as to prevent damage to the power amplifier (100) after power failure.
