Abstract:
An SIP phone public key authentication device (20) comprises: a certificate confirmation unit (21a) that confirms validity with an authentication server (50a) that confirms the validity of a public key certificate (32), when a public key (36) of a user A of an A telephone (30) on a transmission side using SIP is read and transmitted by the telephone of A and is then received by an SIP server (21), the public key (36) being based on a signature by an authentication station (50) of the public key certificate (32) which is stored in an IC card (31) owned by the user A; a random number generation unit (22a) that generates a random number r when the validity has been confirmed by the certificate confirmation unit; and a signature verification unit (22b) that verifies the appropriateness of personal identification information (37) of the user A within a database (23), when a locking random number r, obtained by converting the random number r using a secret key (33) held by the IC card read by the A telephone (30), is converted to the original random number r with the public key.
