Abstract:
Provided is a pulse arc welding device (1001, 1002) that performs control so as to melt a welding wire (24) by applying a welding voltage (V) between the welding wire (24) and material (29) to be welded and causing a welding current (I) to flow such that peak current periods (IPT, IPT1, IPT2, TP), which are peak current (IP), and base current periods (IBT, IBT1, IBT2) are repeatedly alternated at a pulse frequency (PHz) to thereby generate and separate droplets (24d) and weld the material (29) to be welded, said pulse arc welding device being configured to adjust pulse waveform parameters, which are the peak current (IP) and/or the peak current periods (IPT, IPT1, IPT2, TP), such that the separation time (td) when the droplets (24d) separate from the welding wire (24) is within the base current periods (IBT, IBT1, IBT2), and also adjust the pulse frequency (PHz) on the basis of the predetermined relationship between the pulse frequency (PHz) and the pulse waveform parameters.
