Abstract:
Disclosed are a remote valet parking service system and method. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, provided is a parking control system for providing a remote valet parking service to a vehicle, comprising: a parking information system that collects real-time information about a parking facility from a parking lot infrastructure provided in the parking facility; and a remote control device that collects, from the vehicle, external situation information about the vehicle and state information about the vehicle, generates cognitive information for assisting remote control of a remote driver on the basis of pieces of information obtained from the vehicle and the parking information system, and generates control information for controlling the vehicle according to an operation input from the remote driver.
