Abstract:
A sensing apparatus and a sensing method for detecting movement of a golf ball, according to the present invention, are characterized by, in order to fundamentally resolve an error occurrence factor of a sensing result according to the conventional technology, generated on the basis of the assumption that the location of a center point of a golf ball is detected at a detecting time point of a light-receiving unit while detecting movement of the golf ball by a light sensing type golf putting sensing apparatus, calculating information about a movement characteristic of the golf ball through a geometric analysis by using the concept of an effective radius, thereby calculating a precise and accurate sensing result.
