Abstract:
Provided is a server device for notifying a reception person of visitation of a VIP at an appropriate timing. The server device comprises a database, a determination unit, an acquisition unit, and a notification unit. The database stores therein visitor information including vehicle information on a vehicle used by a VIP for visiting and reception person information including information on a reception person who responds to the VIP in association with each other. The determination unit determines whether a vehicle coming to a parking lot is a vehicle on which a VIP rides. The acquisition unit acquires biological information of a person who has exited the vehicle that has been determined as the vehicle on which a VIP rides. The notification unit performs biometric authentication by using biological information generated on the basis of image data obtained from a third camera device and biological information stored in the database. When authentication of a VIP moving to a predetermined location has succeeded, the notification unit notifies a reception person who responds to the VIP for which the authentication has succeeded, of the visitation of the VIP.
