Abstract:
A solar cell 100 according to the present disclosure is provided with a first electrode 20, an electron transport layer 30, an intermediate layer 70, a photoelectric conversion layer 40, and a second electrode 60. The first electrode 20, the electron transport layer 30, the intermediate layer 70 and the photoelectric conversion layer 40 are arranged in this order. The photoelectric conversion layer 40 contains a perovskite compound. The intermediate layer 70 contains a heterocyclic compound. The heterocyclic compound contains a six-membered ring that comprises an element which has a lone electron pair. With respect to this solar cell 100, the photoelectric conversion layer 40 and the intermediate layer 70 may be arranged to be in contact with each other.
