Abstract:
A structure for the front part of a vehicle is provided with: a cross member (14) which extends in the width direction of the vehicle; a windshield support panel (18) which extends toward the lower end of windshield glass (16) from the cross member (14); a glass support member (24) which extends forward of the vehicle from the front end of the windshield support panel (18); a cowl top (26) which is provided in front, with respect to the vehicle, of the windshield glass (16); and damper base supports (72a, 72b) which extend forward of the vehicle from both ends, in the width direction of the vehicle, of the cross member (14) and which are provided respectively below both ends, in the width direction of the vehicle, of the cowl top (26). The center, in the width direction of the vehicle, of the cowl top (26) is supported from below by the glass support member (24). Both ends, in the width direction of the vehicle, of the cowl top (26) are supported from below by the damper base supports (72a, 72b).
