Abstract:
A target object positioning method and apparatus, and a device and a computer-readable storage medium. A theoretical target object height for a target object, and an effective shooting range for the target object are acquired. A theoretical imaging height of the target object on a display screen of an electronic sight can be determined according to the theoretical target object height, the effective shooting range, and a focal length of the lens of the electronic sight. When the height of the target object on the display screen is greater than or equal to the theoretical imaging height, it indicates that the distance between the target object and the electronic sight is less than or equal to the current effective shooting range, and therefore, it can be determined that the target object is within the effective shooting range. Depending on a deviation of the height of a target object on a display screen from a theoretical imaging height, the relationship between the distance between the target object and an electronic sight, and an effective shooting range can be determined, such that an error caused by manually evaluating a shooting distance according to experience is avoided, thereby effectively improving the hit rate of the target object.
