A terminal comprising a control unit that determines a time point for starting certain transmission in a unlicensed band, the time point being a start or an intermediate of a section set for inter-terminal direct communication in a unit time, a reception unit that executes the listen before talk (LBT) in an LBT channel for the transmission, and a transmission unit that starts, when the LBT is successful, the transmission to another terminal at the determined time point, wherein the control unit changes a signal for the transmission when the transmission is to be started at the intermediate of the section.
