Abstract:
The ultrasonic diagnostic equipment having a functionality to display a plurality of ultrasonic images on a single screen is provided with a plurality of signal processing means (12, 13) to generate B-mode signals by performing a specified processing operation of echo signals, first processing condition settings means (23, 24) to set up the processing condition for each of the signal processing means individually, composite image generating means (15) to (18) to generate composite images where a plurality of B-mode images based on the B-mode signals generated by each of the signal processing means are arranged on a single screen, an imaging section (19) to perform a specified imaging operation under the individual condition for each region of each B-mode image on the composite images, and second processing condition settings means (23, 24) to individually set up the processing condition applicable to each region in the imaging section. With such an arrangement, a degree of variation in the image quality due to changed image quality parameters can be easily comprehended by comparing a plurality of images, thereby allowing a work for adjusting the image quality parameters to be optimized.
