Abstract:
Provided is a user terminal device. The user terminal device comprises a communication interface, a display, and a processor that is connected to the communication interface and the display and controls the user terminal device. The processor may: control the communication interface to provide information about an access point to a home appliance operating as a Soft access point; and control the display to display a screen notifying a connection failure on the basis of information about a failure to connect to the access point when the information about the failure to connect is received from the home appliance via the communication interface.
