Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to flexibly collect vehicle data before and after a vehicle data collection condition is satisfied while suppressing communication constraints and cost increases. A vehicle data collection device 5 comprises: a setting unit 40 that determines a collection setting, which is setting information for ECUs corresponding to a collection request; a collection condition assessment unit 51 that sets a collection condition on the basis of the collection setting and assesses whether the collection condition is satisfied; a collection data output unit 52 that sets collection data on the basis of the collection setting and acquires the collection data from the ECUs; a multi-stage holding unit 53 that, on the basis of the collection setting, holds collection data from before satisfaction of the collection condition and collection data from after satisfaction of the collection condition; a transmission standby unit 60 that keeps transmission of the held collection data in a standby state; and a transmission unit 31 that transmits the collection data that was kept in a standby state by the transmission standby unit 60 to the source of the request. The collection request includes a setting value relating to a held quantity of the collection data in the multi-stage holding unit 53. The setting unit 40 changes the held quantity of the collection data in the multi-stage holding unit 53 from the setting value to determine the collection setting.
