Abstract:
The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of image processing, and provides a vehicle reversing detection method and apparatus. The vehicle reversing detection method comprises: acquiring a road monitoring image, and identifying vehicle detection boxes in the road monitoring image; for each vehicle detection box, determining the orientation of a vehicle according to the vehicle detection box, and determining whether the orientation of the vehicle is consistent with a driving direction of a lane where the vehicle is located; and when the orientation of the vehicle is consistent with the driving direction of the lane where the vehicle is located, determining whether the vehicle is reversing according to the driving direction of the vehicle, and when the orientation of the vehicle is inconsistent with the driving direction of the lane where the vehicle is located, determining that the vehicle travels reversely. By means of the present disclosure, the identification accuracy of a vehicle reversing behavior can be improved.
