Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a vertical machining center, comprising a machine tool body, a column, a sliding saddle, a ram, a worktable, and a support which are all formed by casting a mineral cementing material. A worktable driving device used for driving the worktable to move in a Y-axis direction on the machine tool body is provided on the machine tool body; the column is of a symmetrical gantry structure and consists of a gantry left column, a gantry right column and a gantry cross beam; a sliding saddle driving device used for driving the sliding saddle to move in an X-axis direction is provided on the gantry cross beam; a ram driving device is provided on the sliding saddle; and a tool spindle and a spindle motor capable of driving the tool spindle to work are installed inside the ram. The vertical machining center disclosed in the present invention reduces the effect of a heat source on the temperature of the machine tool, reduces the vibration of all parts of the machine tool, and reduces the heat deformation generated by the parts in the working process of the machine tool, so that the machine tool can keep stable geometric precision, motion precision, positioning precision, and repeated positioning precision in a long-term working process.
