Abstract:
Disclosed is a vibration type polisher for link chain, which is characterized
in that a polishing bed is placed on a base through a spring, in that the polishing
bed is equipped on its upper face with a polishing bath for vibration-polishing
the link chain, in that the polishing bath is equipped alternately at its two longitudinal
end portions with transfer sheave devices for winding up and feeding out the link
chain, in that a counterweight unit is disposed below and integrally with the
polishing bath, in that the counterweight unit converts the rotations of a vibrating
motor attached directly to the lower portion of the polishing bath, into vibrations
through a transmission spindle, and in that the link chain over the polishing
bath is polished such that the vibrations are applied by neither applying a tension
to the link chain nor using any polishing medium.
