Abstract:
This invention provides a laser welding method that can realize a large penetration
depth, does not use any oxide flux, and unnecessitates increasing the output
of a laser oscillation source as in a TIG welding method which causes no significant
consumption of a tungsten electrode. The welding method comprises a pretreatment
step of enhancing the oxygen concentration of contact part between a first welding
material and a second welding material and a joining step of joining the first
welding material to the second welding material by melting at least a part of the
contact part.
