Abstract:
A wireless power supply system which is provided with multiple coils and which, during operation, can transfer power efficiently even when transferring power using a portion of the coils, and an elevator which is provided with this wireless power supply system are provided. This wireless power supply system and elevator are provided with multiple power transmitter/receivers which are connected in parallel between a main power supply and a load, and which include: a power transmission coil which is connected to the main power supply; a power receiving coil which receives power transmitted from the power transmission coil and supplies power to the load; and an inverter which is provided between the main power supply and the power transmission coil and which converts power supplied from the main power supply to power of a predefined frequency and supplies this to the power transmission coil. Because an inverter is connected to each of the individual power transmission coils, it is possible to efficiently supply power to a load even in the case of using a portion of the power transmission coils.
