Abstract:

A direct-ink-storing writing implement equipped with an ink reservoir capable of preventing a nib from soiling even when exposed to an atmosphere of 0 °C or lower at which ink in the writing implement begins to freeze, simplifying an assembling machine and improving productivity, comprising an ink chamber (2) for directly storing ink at the rear part of a barrel (1) and an ink reservoir (5) at the front part of the barrel (1), characterized in that a vent hole (7) communicating with a through hole (6) is provided in the side face of the ink reservoir (5) formed therein with the through hole (6) in which an ink induction wick (8) for supplying ink in the ink chamber (2) to the nib (10) is provided.
